Of course it’s an illusion, Megan. I have several online identities and just as many offline ones. Each is a strand of me. Some weave together to form a stronger whole while others are quite distinct and separate from each other. Some strands are carefully chosen to project a professional illusion and others are left to naturally evolve. You may be familiar with one strand or you may recognise several but it is unlikely that you’ll know all the patterns that bind together to create me.
Will the real Sally please stand up?
